Who We Are

Brian Chestnut

Executive Consultant

In high school I was a pitcher and played shortstop. My career choice was becoming a Professional Baseball Player. As graduation neared I was faced with choosing an actual major at an actual college. My buddy said he was going to WVU. So the next day I started the application process for the physical education program at WVU. If I couldn't play baseball it seemed logical to become a baseball coach. I was accepted. Upon telling my parents the good news, "we" decided the Engineering program would be a better fit.

I studied Mechanical Engineering at West Virginia University from 1996-2001. While home on breaks I worked part time at a Corrugated Pipe Company. In 2001 I was offered a full time position in their powder coating division. After 5 years I was promoted to Plant Engineer of the Corrugated Pipe division. I held this position for 11 years. Among many other assignments, my responsibilities included standards development, quality control, safety, testing, and audits. During this time I networked with other industry leading members gaining invaluable experience, knowledge, and an interest in consulting. In 2017, I was presented with opportunity to establish my consulting firm.

In establishing and growing the firm, I attribute much of my success to my supportive family. My wife runs an e-commerce business she started in 2004. She also assists me in many aspects of the firm. We have three boys. The oldest is currently pursuing a dual major. Upon completion he will have earned both a Physics degree and an Engineering degree. Our middle son will graduate next year and pursue a Technical degree. The youngest is a freshman in high school and still deciding his future path.
